Rich Eva, Ph.D.

I am the Director of Character Forward and an Executive in Residence in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.  I am also a Faculty Fellow with the Kenan Institute for Ethics. I earned my PhD in philosophy at Baylor University, specializing in ethics and political philosophy.  I did my undergraduate work at Princeton University.  Between Princeton and Baylor, I was an Assistant Vice President at Barclays Bank in New York City where I negotiated securitization contracts and organized pro bono initiatives.  My experience as an all-conference wrestler at Princeton cultivated my interests in virtue ethics and leadership.
